Shaped baskets are fun decor items for a modern nursery or child’s room. They add natural texture and whimsical storage.
Our luxe version of the Elephant Shaped Basket from Zara Home is woven of rattan and measure 13″ x 14″ x 24″.
The more affordable version, the Opalhouse Elephant Basket from Target, is shown below. It’s a water hyacinth basket just a little bit smaller, measuring 12″ x 12″ x 15″.
Both are super cute.
The toy collection at Monroe Workshop has really expanded since I first noticed them at ABC Kids Expo back in 2015.
Now there’s a whole wooden menagerie including Cecily the Pig, 
Josh the Lion,
Jean-Pierre the Longhorn,
Avinash the Elephant,
and Chloe the Frog.

Sometimes all your space needs is one bold, fun accessory that really makes a colorful statement. The Land of Nod has no shortage of these and these are my new favorites for 2016.
A really cute pouf can be much more than a place to put up your feet. Check out the Cloud Pouf,
or just the plain Milk Carton Pouf.
Three amazing new Nod Chairs by Donna Wilson are my favorite designs yet. The three animals are Parrot,
and Tiger.
Another incredible new tiger is this paper mache faux taxidermy piece by Sarah Walsh.

Finally, two beautiful new lamps are simple and sweet. The Unicorn Table Lamp and the
Elephant Table Lamp can add some friendly fun to an otherwise neutral, sophisticated room.
I just can’t get over all the cuteness.
As an alternative to plastic and melamine plates for kids, Dylan Kendall designed a fabulously fun series of bamboo dishware!
This Kickstarter launch still has early bird sets available, which include a free placemat, (for estimated November delivery) for $25. Prices and packages go up from there.
Four animal designs include monkey, rabbit, elephant and turtle.
