They Posted These So I Don’t Have To

These are some of my favorite posts from around the web over the past week.

As you can see, I’m still on a bit of a map kick and this week, Cristin on Simplified Bee posted a ton more Decorating Ideas Using Maps.  You’ve got to love this nursery designed by Brad Ford that was featured in Lonny

Lauren put together a great collection of Whimsical Lighting on Spearmint Baby.  Go see her top 18 picks!
Babyology and Bambino Goodies shared pictures of Stokke’s new Bounce ‘n’ Sleep daybed.  A new bouncer + a lovely daybed combine to = the Stokke Bounce ‘n’ Sleep.  This is going to be a hot item but we’re going to have to wait until at least September to see this innovative product in the US.
Design*Sponge featured the adorable wallpaper designs of Australian designer and illustrator, Binny Talib.  Sometime when you’re looking for something really unique, it’s worth having it shipped from abroad.
I fell in love with Katie’s Pretty as a Picture Frame Mobile idea.  Simple enough that even I would consider tackling a project like that!  Very cute.
Hope you enjoy these posts as much as I did and have a wonderful weekend.  Leave a comment to share any great posts I may have missed.
We’re having my 5 year old’s best friends and their younger siblings over tonight for dinner and a movie (6 little boys in all).  We also have a pool playdate lined up for the weekend and then we’ll be anxiously awaiting my mother’s return from her 4 month long cruise around the world!  I sure hope that she took lots of photos.

Triangles are a hot and these embroidered animals from Hide the Good Scissors are a stunning find from 2 modern blog.

I wouldn’t be doing my job properly if I didn’t show you Wishbone’s ‘Flip’ 2-in-1 Ride-On Toy & Rocker (via Inhabitots).  I love multi-purpose designs like this.

Chic Spaces for Little Faces put together a lovely post in honor of spring, “Bring on the Sunshine!”  It includes a handful of sunny art prints (including the set below) from a number of etsy sellers.

In our continued effort to make sure you have the coolest Easter ever, have a look at Coos & Ahhs roundup of “Bunnies Bunnies Bunnies!!!”

And “The Bunny Hop” on Diaper Style Memoirs has three more wonderful Easter picks including Playsam’s Rocking Rabbit shown below.

Have a fantastic weekend.  We’ve got T-ball, a playdate and a birthday party.  Do you have anything exciting planned?  Also, feel free to include links to your favorite posts of the past week in the comments!

Lauren posted a fabulous roundup of Easter gifts that don’t involve chocolate in her post “For Your Wee Ones: Easter Gifts” on Spearmint Baby.

Mari of Small For Big found these adorable stuffed toys from Hazel Village, which would also make wonderful Easter gifts.  Check them all out in her post, “Hopping Bunnies, Mice, & Foxes Oh My.”

I liked Nicole’s collection of teepee photos in “1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Indians” on Chic & Cheap Nursery.

I love this “Mini Cartographer” nursery board on Lay Baby Lay.  Click to see more because I’m only showing part of the image.

This “Art Finds” post on Little Miss Heirlooms is full of great alphabet posters including this one:

Have a great weekend and feel free to post your favorite links in the comments.

I like this mood board for a Rock Star / Lead Guitar Nursery on Skårt shop’s blog.

Emma’s Room from My Poppet has been making the blog rounds this week.  If you haven’t seen it yet, take a visit!

Golly Bard’s Woodland Fabric Collection on Ohdeedoh has really got me thinking.  I’m imagining crib bedding…

I really like this collection of Wall Stickers from 41 Orchard.  Thanks to Spearmint Baby for sharing those this week.  What a great find!

Another great post this week on Modern Parents Messy Kids… these Fun Ways to Make Tracks are great to keep in mind when you’re stuck inside as a result of April showers.

Spearmint Baby posted this lovely collection of dinosaur items because some kids just can’t get enough of them.

We’re huge Lego fans so this Lego Inspiration post on Warm Hot Chocolate really caught my attention.  Fun stuff.

I’ll admit to having a love/hate relationship with wall decals, but I find this photo to be rather inspirational.  See the cute owls peeking into the crib?  You can win this Extra Large Wall Decal “The Owl Tree” from Little Lion at Bloesem Kids.

I was happy to see some New Bedding from New Arrivals Inc. on Nursery Notations.  Sprout is my favorite too but there are a couple I could work with!

Modern Parents Messy Kids posted an amazing collection of map inspired items in Fresh Finds: Maps & Globes with a Twist.

I especially love the nursery pictured above.  I saw it on ohdeedoh back in February but for the full tour, go see the photos of Finn’s Nursery on Lillie’s Blog!

Posting my weekly links a little early this week.  These are some of my favorite posts and things that I want to share with you from around the web over the past week.

First, tomorrow is Bloggers Day of Silence.  Please take some time to consider the disaster in Japan and make a donation to ShelterBox, the Red Cross or Save the Children.  There’s not going to be much out there to read, so spend your time online with your credit card and make a difference.

Bloggers Day of Silence

I’m crazy about this Nursery Nook on Spearmint Baby– and not just because it features Minimalist Muppets by Eric Slager.  This puts the “fun” in functional.

Ohdeedoh has me wanting these Light Switch Stickers from Henrietta Swift.

Our spring rainbow theme was on beautiful display on l’il magoolie’s post Colourful Lantern Inspiration.  Take a look and be inspired to add color to your life.

Along with this week’s theme of welcoming spring, A Punch Of Color posted this rainbow display of Planes, Trains & Automobiles.  Actually all I see is trains, trucks and a bus- but that’s what my boys like best anyway!

Ohdeedoh shared a “A Bumper Crop of Alphabet Prints” and found a few you might love.

The Style Files has me drooling over this “branch bookshelf.”  I know you all want one of your own.  Just please don’t ask me where to get it.

little. lovely. found some cool “Retro inspired prints for a boy’s room.”  I know some of you are into rockets and robots.

If you’re on the hunt for birth announcement worthy of your incredible miracle, you’ll find inspiration with these “Adorable Birth Announcement Ideas” from Oh So Beautiful Paper.

I wanted to post about these beautiful new Butterfly Graphics From Blik but with my Internet and computer trouble this week, I never got around to it.  Fortunately Holly at decor8’s shared all the details.

I love this Rocket Ship Roundup from “the itsy factor.”  I just love a great round-up, and rockets are a great subject.  The P’kolino puzzle is one of my favorites in the bunch.

The tutorial about how to Recycle a Crib Skirt into a Window Valance on “Prudent Baby” is ingenious!  Now that our crib is on the lowest level, the crib skirt sits in a drawer.  I may have to get it out again!

“Small for Big” introduced me to Wry Baby’s new line of Stuf in their post Sometimes Stuf is Enuf.  They’re adorable little pillows and I especially love the birds!

“Chic & Cheap Nursery” had a beautiful nursery spotlight of a Pink and Yellow Safari themed room that is fabulously beautiful!  It’s a truly inspiring space.

And if you need more pink and yellow inspiration, “Project Nursery” was inspired to create a design board after seeing a new rug from Calypso Home.  The design Inspired by Calypso St. Barth is colorful, tropical, musical and beautiful.
