Real Room Tour: Naya’s Papaya Cabin

This room is a stunner.  Ikea plus that incredible wood wall and a bright and beautiful color palette makes for an incredible space for Naya to grow up in.

This room starts off with some Ikea basics like the Leksvik crib and dresser with changing top, and a Poang Rocking Chair.

With some fun colors and a mix of fabrics, it gains a personality all its own.

The bedding and matching bird throw pillow are from The Land of Nod as part of their Sleepin’ Safari collection.

The room is full of meaningful touches including this Brazil map and little chalk message dot near the crib.

I love the reading area next to the large window and the 3 Sprouts owl bin with the handmade owl inside it.

The lamp, wall shelf, rocking moose and even the curtains are Ikea finds, and you can get the monster prints in formaholic’s etsy shop.  Aren’t they adorable?!

Papaya not only rhymes with her name, but describes the bright wall color in the changing area of the room.

Naya has a beautiful nursery to go with her beautiful name.  I love that I can picture a little baby girl playing and spending her time in this space.

Thanks to her mother Priscilla for sharing this incredible tour with us!  As you might guess from the phenomenal photos of this nursery, Priscilla is a photographer.  You can find her work on and follow her blog at!
