Sometimes all your space needs is one bold, fun accessory that really makes a colorful statement. The Land of Nod has no shortage of these and these are my new favorites for 2016.
A really cute pouf can be much more than a place to put up your feet. Check out the Cloud Pouf,
Milk Shake Pouf,
or just the plain Milk Carton Pouf.
Three amazing new Nod Chairs by Donna Wilson are my favorite designs yet. The three animals are Parrot,
Another incredible new tiger is this paper mache faux taxidermy piece by Sarah Walsh.
Or you may like the alpaca instead!
Finally, two beautiful new lamps are simple and sweet. The Unicorn Table Lamp and the
Elephant Table Lamp can add some friendly fun to an otherwise neutral, sophisticated room.
I just can’t get over all the cuteness.

We’ve enjoyed Charley Harper books, toys and art kits, but now The Land of Nod is bringing Charley Harper’s art and style to your home in a new way. The Charley Harper for Nod collection features home decor, accessories and bedding full of bold patterns, shapes and colors.
For the nursery, the Florida Keys bedding collection is stunning– and I’m not just saying that because I live in Florida. The collection includes a quilt, crib sheet, and changing pad cover.
Colorful pillows accent the bedding collections, but they’d be great to add to solid bedding sets as well. Take a look at the Bear, Raccoon, Ladybug Striped Sham, Ladybug, Tiger, and Butterfly throw pillows.
I’ve seen Giraffe and Flamingo growth charts before, not none as cute as these.
Finally, the Charley Harper for Nod rugs are bold and bright. These really make a statement.

The new 2016 crib bedding sets from DwellStudio are new available! This is my favorite bunch in years.
First are two modern geometric sets. The Triangle Bedding Collection is full of mix and match pieces with a hand-printed design of aqua and blues.
The Aimee Bedding Collection features a watercolor painted leaf print in berry, yellow and gray.
Then there are two amazing animal patterns. These gender-neutral designs are both sophisticated and adorable.
The Bear Bedding Collection is my favorite bear print ever and pairs with the Pyramid sheet.
You can also use the pyramid sheet with the elegant embroidered Zebra skirt, bumper, blanket and pillow.
DwellStudio may have reignited my love of baby bedding! Which would you use as your nursery inspiration?
I love a new twist on a classic toy and when it features the unique style of Donna Wilson, it’s a must-see in my book.
There are three styles of Hobby Horses including a Giraffe, Zebra and Llama (my boys’ favorite!). $94
Some of favorite room tours on the blog are from the talented group at SISSY + MARLEY. The main feature that really stands out in their spaces is their use of modern wallpaper. Not surprisingly, they usually use their own wallpaper patterns and now they have even more to choose from! The SISSY + MARLEY for Jill Malek collection now features four new designs.
Drops is available in Rain (shown), Charcoal, Pink and Silver.
Hop, with these cute little bunny silhouettes, is available in Candy (shown), Sand, Silver and Charcoal.
Zee comes in Charcoal, Silver, Rain and Pink.
And finally, with the look of hand painting, Stripe comes in Rain (shown), Navy and Charcoal.
Which would you choose? I can’t decide!
With illustrations by Dianara Mirtalipova, the Don’t Feed the Rug series from The Land of Nod is an easy way to add a lot of fun to a space. The rugs are Tiger, Zebra and Bear and they come in 4′ x 6′ and 5′ x 8′ sizes.
Anyone feeling “wild” enough to use one of these?

When I first came across Kate Zaremba Company on Etsy, I knew the sweet Zebra print removable wallpaper had to have a place in our home. And then I found the foxy wallpaper, sweet for a nursery in every way. With clean patterns and simple color palettes, these wallpaper prints could work in any room from a powder room to the nursery to an eat-in kitchen.
I could seriously design an entire nursery around a “Foxy” wall with neutral colors throughout the room (Foxy wallpaper roll $48).
All of the removable wallpaper, art prints, fabric, and gift wrap from Kate Zaremba Company are hand drawn and custom printed, making them unique and interesting. They could be just right for an accent wall or lining in a closet if you’re not quite ready to take it to every wall.
Zebra print wallpaper roll ($58)
Bold elephant print wallpaper roll ($58)
Paper Arrows wallpaper ($48)
Black and white arrows collection wallpaper ($58)
If despite the amazing patterns, wallpaper still isn’t your thing, try the fabric by the yard ($28) for just a hint of the Kate Zaremba style.
Have you tried removable wallpaper? Which is your favorite?
