Happy Earth Day
From our favorite frog (who knows it’s not easy being “green”), here’s an Earth Day message from Kermit.
Bugaboo’s Jazzy New Colors for Summer and Black and White Stripes for Baby
Bugaboo’s Special Color Collection 2013 is coming out in March– just in time to “Jazz Up Summer”. I’m such a sucker for special edition Bugaboos!
In honor of the fantastic black and white striped lining on the canopies, I’ve rounded up some accessories to help you add a little more black and white stripe to your nursery. It’s totally on trend now and I’ve even treated myself to a pair of black and white striped shoes. I’m crazy about them and the black and white stripe in general. I’m wearing a black and white striped shirt as I type this.

Am I the only one who misses Moose A. Moose?
I’m thankful that I get to share this blog with you every day! Hope you’re having a wonderful day with your family.
Sesame Street: I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon
This is my very favorite lullaby. I made sure to learn the all the words when my baby was born.
Well, I’d like to visit the moon
On a rocket ship high in the air.
Yes, I’d like to visit the moon
But I don’t think I’d like to live there.
Though I’d like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love
So although I might like it for one afternoon
I don’t want to live on the moon.
I’d like to travel under the sea.
I could meet all the fish everywhere.
Yes, I’d travel under the sea
But I don’t think I’d like to live there.
I might stay for a day there if I had my wish
But there’s not much to do when your friends are all fish.
And an oyster and clam aren’t real family
So I don’t want to live in the sea.
I’d like to visit the jungle, hear the lions roar.
Go back in time and meet a dinosaur.
There’s so many strange places I’d like to be
But none of them permanently.
So if I should visit the moon
Well, I’ll dance on a moonbeam and then
I will make a wish on a star
And I’ll wish I was home once again.
Though I’d like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love.
So although I may go I’ll be coming home soon
‘Cause I don’t want to live on the moon.
No, I don’t want to live on the moon.

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Just put this on repeat and enjoy!
Mr. Rogers is Big this Weekend
I’m sharing this just in case you haven’t spotted it in your Facebook feed yet (it’s all over mine!). We should all be a little more like Mr. Rogers. Love him– even auto-tuned.
Hope you’re having a great weekend. Don’t forget, tomorrow is the last day to enter our huge giveaway. We’ll announce the winner on Monday!
RIP Maurice Sendak
He’s a childhood favorite that got even better as an adult. If you think you know about Maurice Sendak but haven’t seen his interview on The Colbert Report, you’ve really got to watch it. And even if you don’t know anything about him, watch it if you love to laugh.

I hope you at least have the following titles in your library…
In the Night Kitchen (Caldecott Collection)
Nutshell Library (Caldecott Collection) (includes Chicken Soup with Rice, Pierre and Alligators all Around)
Then, just for good measure, pick up Really Rosie and listen to it in the car. You’ll love it as much as the kids will.

(those are amazon affiliate links but you can pick them up anywhere)
Maurice Sendak died this morning. He was 83 years old. I know I’ll be treasuring these titles even more after today.
