Etsy Find: Mandi Smethells Imaginative Fiber Arts

Woven art has been a decor trend for a few years now, but the colorful and imaginative pieces from Mandi Smethells are particularly perfect to add to your modern nursery decor.

Currently the bulk of her shop is these fiber rainbows.
This pastel rainbow with pink pom pom trim was the first piece that caught my attention.

But then I’m partial to the brighter colors in the “Vibrant Gradient” Rainbow.

Dig deeper in the shop and you’ll find animal wall hangings like this owl or the unicorn or lion.

Finally, there’s a ultra cool collection of moths and I’m especially digging the Sequined Moth “Candieoptera” Wall Hanging.
Browse the shop and tell me which is your favorite!

zooModern Animal Friends

They’re in that sweet spot between stuffed animals and wooden toys, but if that seems odd, it doesn’t matter once you see just how cute they are!

From zooModern, choose Leo the Bear, Evan the Rabbit, Lars the Owl or Abe the Fox. ($65 each)

The zooModern animals are made from rubberwood and their jackets are wool with a metal snap. They are cuddly as well as easy to play with and made to last. If you’re looking to buy “better” instead of “more”, put these on your gift shopping list. Evan the Rabbit is going on mine!
