There is no one right answer to the best mobile question. Though there are options that are supposed to be good for capturing baby’s attention and promoting brain development, mobiles are more decorative than functional. Some are battery operated and play music, spin or light up. I have nothing against those and reluctantly admit that we had one of those gadgety gizmos, but currently, there aren’t any on the market that I’d feel good about recommending. If that changes, I’ll let you know!
For now, think of your nursery mobile as a floating piece of artwork for your modern nursery. You can hang one in a corner, over the changing table, or over the crib, but wherever you put it, make sure you hang it out of baby’s reach.
As part of our baby registry series sponsored by Babylist, I’m sharing my top 10 favorite sources (in no particular order) for modern mobiles. With just these 10 brands, you’ll have an incredible selection of gorgeous modern mobiles. Pick your favorite and add it to your baby registry!
