Oilo shared lots of new and exciting developments at the 2013 ABC Kids Expo. Everyone I talked to was excited to see three new bedding collections on display, but that was just the beginning!
The biggest news at Oilo for 2014 is that all their crib bedding will be sold a la carte. The bumpers will retail for $180, crib sheets for $36 (striped) or $39 (patterned) and crib skirts for $118 (patterned) or $99 (solid).
The first new collections I want to show you is Zara. I love Zara because it’s not quite a chevron but more of an updated zig-zag pattern. You can’t go wrong with this bold gray set.
The Link motif in Stone is another new design at Oilo, and it’s paired with a solid crib skirt. Link is offered on the sheet and a few other decorative accessories.
I’m also really excited about the new Bloom motif. This is available as a patterned sheet with a solid skirt and there are a few additional Bloom accessories as well as other options in the Petal Pink colors.
Brick and mortar retailers will also be offering Oilo’s Pure collection. With pure white bumpers and skirts, the Pure collection can be mixed in with any of the other Oilo collections. The pieces can also be enhanced with ties, piping and banding in any of Oilo’s signature colors.
Since more people are choosing crib bedding without bumpers, Oilo has reworked some of their previous popular patterns and updated them to suit this increasing trend. Here you can see Modern Berries with a larger pattern on the sheet…
… and here you can see Cobblestone‘s updated look.
Oilo is also adding two gorgeous gliders to its furniture collection. The Bellingham and Nola gliders will be available in 2014 and retail for about $1400.
Oilo’s new hassocks (shown above) can be ordered in all of Oilo’s fabrics and will retail for about $100. Use these as an ottoman or beanbag chair and add a pop of your favorite Oilo design.
I think Oilo has a great concept going on with all the mix and match options that it has been developing. You can really create a sophisticated and unique custom look that works perfectly for you. If they just had drapery, you’d have all your fabric needs covered.
