My Modern Nursery #77: Coral and Mint Sponsored by Lullaby Paints

This is a nursery board that I worked on in collaboration with ROLLherSTROLLER, a baby gear and stroller reviewer and lovely mother of two.  She’s putting together her baby girl’s nursery and I was excited to help.  With coral and mint as our jumping off point, we worked together to come up with this feminine scheme for her modern little lady.  I can’t wait to see photos of the finished space.

My Modern Nursery #72: Wired for Girls Sponsored by NUMI NUMI Design

I know that NUMI NUMI‘s new Wired collection is inspired by modern technology and a busy urban skyline, but what was really speaking to me this week was the beautiful natural bamboo materials and the Amber finish of the Wired Crib and Wired Changing Table.  I really did start with a more urban inspiration but scrapped it all in an effort to not distract from the design of the crib.  Instead, the coral and blue color scheme worked with the Amber color and became this fun, warm and feminine design board.

2- Astron Mid-Century Modern Pendant– $155
3- Wired Crib from NUMI NUMI Design- $1790

My Modern Guest from A Lovely Lark

Lauren, from the truly lovely blog A Lovely Lark, has a delicious summery nursery design for you this July 4th.  I hope your holiday is half as sweet as this gorgeous space.  Thanks Lauren!  And Happy 4th of July!

Yummy Summer Nursery

Hi, Lauren from A Lovely Lark here, pinch hitting for Esther while she and her family are on their summer vacation! Other than, of course, the obvious fireworks and red/white/blue, July makes me think of hot, glorious summer days filled with pools, lemonade, and popsicles. So when I came across this popsicle print on Etsy, I knew it would be the perfect jumping-off point for a summer nursery:

Clockwise from top right: popsicle print, tassel garland, gold heart print, ombre pillow, gold lamp, rug, love love print, gold pouf, crib bedding, rocker, zinc letter, narwal/whale, dresser

I also created a little boy version over on my blog – stop over and take a peek. Thanks for having me Esther! xo, Lauren

Real Room Tour: Radiant in Raspberry

It’s always so much fun to share a new nursery tour with you and I’m sure you’ll enjoy this lovely space for a baby girl.  Julia, who writes the blog My Life In Transition recently completed this clean but colorful space for her daughter Cecelia.

The focal point of the space is the awesome magenta crib which Julia painted (Behr Fuchsia Kiss in case you’re interested) and the arrangement of lanterns.

The Babyletto Nara glider and Kyoto Ottoman look really chic in here and make a comfortable seating corner.  Julia purchased these from our friends at My Urban Child!

The changing table is a repainted dresser that was picked up via Craigslist.  This is a charming and functional corner.

The prints over the changing area include a couple from ours friends at Urban Tickle.  The custom “You Are Loved” Print is in the center and “Owl Family Tree” is on the left.  Julia made the birth announcement print on the right.

All the details in this room come together perfectly and create a feminine, but not typical nursery for Cecelia.  Just how I like it!

Great job Julia!  I’m sure Cecelia and the rest of your family are going to enjoy this lovely space for years to come.

You can see many more photos of this space and a complete product source list on Julia’s original nursery reveal post on Life in Transition.

Real Room Tour: Amelia’s Fabulous Fabrics

Amelia used the colors of her favorite cosmetic bag to inspire this nursery.  She paired the bright coral color with shades to gray to create a sophisticated yet fun space.

The exciting and inspirational aspect of this nursery is the combination of fabrics that Amelia used.  She paired the Elephant and Umbrella fabric and Geo Tile from with Duralee’s Smoke Scroll fabric for the canopy and the crib skirt.  The rug is a great coral shade and the crib bedding and seat cushion are more custom fabrics by Holli Zollinger from Spoonflower.

It’s not too often that you find a little seating area like this near the crib, but I can see this set up being very useful during “sleep training”. The antique chair was made modern with the bright coral paint job and fantastic fabric.

Real Room Tour: Susan’s (Zuzia’s) Sunny Space

It’s been a while since I featured a nursery tour, so I was very excited when Kate sent me the photos of her daughter’s nursery.

This nursery makes me really miss DwellStudio’s Gio Lemon Crib Set.  While it’s still available in Aqua, this mustard yellow and purple color combo looks so fresh and feminine.

It’s a little hard to see, but there’s a sweet giraffe wall decal to the left of the crib.  It’s such a cute complement to the bedding.

The side table is perfectly accessorized with fun purple and yellow items.
