I might have to make a rare visit to JC Penney to check these out in person but I can’t believe I haven’t heard about this partnership before today (thanks Pinterest!). Happy Chic is Jonathan Adler’s lower cost decor and furnishings collection for JC Penny and if his style is prohibitive for you at regular prices, this might just be the perfect solution. I’m not sure why this hasn’t been publicized more widely (a la Target special collections), but here are my favorite picks to add to your nursery decor plans or just around the house.

I know more than a few of you out there who will be thrilled to know that Auggie has introduced new bedding patterns to their line up.
Natasha features subtle and sweet Marushka dolls in a beautiful lilac color.
Felix is little boy blue all the way with a simple puppy print.
These two join Pony Love, Pretty with Pink, Rabbit Patch and Robot March. You can mix and match the patterns with their Stripe, Pebble, Astrid and Flutter designs as well to get some variety or to create your own custom look.
You can order the dog, kangaroo and peacock now for $28 each.
They’ve also added a new storage caddy to the collection. Pig joins owl, mouse and beaver for $24 each.
Keep your eyes peeled for more new things coming soon– cow and wolf poufs!
Jenny chose an orange gray and brown color palette and added some creative personal touches to decorate this wonderful modern boys nursery.
The Baby Mod Olivia Crib, Gus* Sparrow Glider and Maclaren Polar Bear Rocker were the only things she purchased new for the room. Rufus, the sleek polar bear rocker, looks chic in any nursery and I was also excited to see the Sparrow Glider in this real nursery setting. If I were doing our nursery all over again today, this glider would be my first pick, so I’m thrilled to hear that Jenny is happy with hers.
The orange bookcase was a $50 antique store find. Some orange paint and baskets gave it a new life and added a modern personality.
The rug is a sweater rug from West Elm. Coincidentally, I picked this one out for a design board that I’ll be sharing later this week. Reportedly it’s as comfy as it sounds!
The art wall arrangement is perfection and this ceramic dog is the icing on the cake.
The dresser is a refurbished Goodwill find that was topped off with a changing platform. It’s a cost effective and eco-friendly nursery solution that is increasingly popular.
Jenny had the dogs silhouettes (representing the three dogs in the family) printed on canvas and stretched on a frame. Talk about personal, custom artwork! These look wonderful.
The awesome front-facing bookshelves were a DIY project. These were made from some wooden pallets and were stained to match the crib and dresser. They are one of my favorite features in the room!
Here you can see a fish-eye view of the entire room. The pinwheel mobile was another DIY project that finished the entire space off perfectly.
You can see more of Jenny’s fine taste at her blog Holee Molee Hostess, where she shares party inspiration and crafts!
Thanks for sharing you incredible nursery with us Jenny! I know you and your little one are going to love it for years to come.
