Oeuf XL Changing Station
To go with their larger Merlin 6 Drawer Dresser, Oeuf is launching the XL Changing Station / Shelf. $300
It’s not just the perfect changer with plenty of storage on your dresser top, but when you’re done with it, the changing stations mounts on the wall and becomes a display shelf.

I love anything that stretches the lifetime of these products and I applaud this creative thinking!
Now if only I could find something to do with our old Oeuf changing station. While it was ideal while we needed it, it’s now been hanging around our house for the past 2 years…

MDB at ABC Kids Expo 2012
The MDB Family had one of the most impressive showings at the ABC Kids Expo this year. With their diverse family of brands and lots of new nursery furniture collections, there was lots to see.
First from Nurseryworks, one of the most spectacular pieces at the show was this District Convertible Crib. This particular one is made of reclaimed white oak so it’s gorgeous as well as green.

Nurseryworks also displayed a limited edition blue Vetro crib.

Babyletto had the Skip collection. This is now my top favorite from Babyletto.

Even MDB’s DaVinci brand (which usually doesn’t quite fall into the modern nursery category) had a couple items that caught my attention. I think their Highland Collection is a beautiful bridge between traditional and modern. The straight lines make all the difference.

And the Jenny Lind Crib in blue is a fun modern twist on a traditional style.

Finally, MDB was debuting the Ubabub range of products. As I’ve said, this Australian line is set to hit the US shortly and was getting a lot of attention.
So what do you think of MDB’s newest offerings? Any favorites?
Launch of Numi Numi Design
We first introduced you to NUMI NUMI Design last year when we visited them at ABC Kids Expo 2011. Now, they’ve officially launched their first modern nursery furniture line, the Funky Forest collection.

The collection is made in the USA using NAUF (no added urea formaldehyde) multi-ply birch wood and finished with non-toxic, water-based wood stains.
The Funky Forest Crib reflects the asymmetry and irregularity in nature. $1490

The Funky Forest Changing Table features an integrated LED fixture that assists in nighttime diaper changes. $1790

Two other NUMI NUMI Design nursery collections are expected next year (Seaweed is on the left and Wired on the right).

New Merlin Dresser From Oeuf
I never imagined that my life would include writing to tell thousands of people about a new dresser, but here we are, here it is, and this is the kind of stuff I get excited about these days. The Merlin 3 Drawer Dresser is exactly what you’d hope for from Oeuf and is a gorgeous and perfect addition to their furniture line.

This piece is available now for $920.
Hopefully the 6 drawer version will be available soon as well.

In other important Oeuf news, the Robin Crib is on sale right now. If an Oeuf crib is just outside your price range, maybe this will put it within reach for you. How does $499 sound?

Get this deal at your favorite modern baby retailer like Fawn & Forest, Modern Nursery, Clever Tomato, or Amazon.

Numi Numi Design debut at ABC Kids Expo
I was looking forward to seeing the Funky Forest collection from Numi Numi Design at ABC Kids Expo. I’m always excited to show you new modern nursery furniture designs, so take a look:

The really unique thing about the changer (in addition to the lit section!) is that the top section of the comes off to become the play table.

I look forward to seeing these available for purchase and to see the other collections (like Seaweed) brought to life.

Nurseryworks Twinkle and More on Gilt
New Nurseryworks Twinkle Cribs and Changers seem to be making their debut on Gilt (until 9/11 at 9pm ET). $349 (regularly $399) for the crib and the same price for the changer.
These are part of the Billy by Nurseryworks Collection. The quatrefoil design is printed on the side panels and changer door in a unique ink-jet process. It will be interesting to see other ways they will put this technique to use.

Honestly, I don’t like everything Nurseryworks does. I’m not naming names but if you don’t see it on the blog, I don’t like it. This, however, is a design I can get behind. The shape of the crib is a lot like the Aerial crib and the pattern dresses it up and adds an elegant look.
I’m also going to mention this Alexander Vintage Rocker from Nurseryworks because so many of you loved the look in a previous nursery tour (Elliot’s Eclectic Attic). This retails for $3,500 but until 9pm ET on 9/11, you can snag it for $2350 + $187 delivery.

Yes, I just posted another Gilt sale this week, but they’re just rockin’ it this month.

More to Love From Ninetonine
First of all, I’m just going to insist that you visit Ninetonine’s website and examine it thoroughly. This Spanish company has an English version of their site where you’ll be able to see all of their products and beautiful photos.
I’m so happy that Ninetonine products are becoming more accessible to us in the US and that they have been expanding their line. I’ve had their zebra crib on buymoderncribs for a while, and just last month I was excited to add three more pieces to the guides on BuyModernBaby.
My first two new additions were the Kits Rocking Horse (in either white or gray) and Kits Shelf from the Kits Collection. I have a soft spot for rocking toys and since no nursery should be without books, you need plenty of book storage. The Kits collection also includes a play table with seating options.

I also added these pieces from the Nona collection. This is an incredibly gorgeous set with a two-tone changer and a white or wood crib.

This last design is not yet in production but is so drool-worthy that I had to share. The Neo crib transforms into the most elegant little toddler bed you’ve ever seen.

You can purchase any of these items (except the Neo crib) as well as their original line of products directly from ninetonine and they ship around the world. There are also a few select retailers (Spunky Sprout in the US) that carry ninetonine.

Leander Products Update
Last November, I promised the Leander Dresser, Changer and High Chair were coming soon. In case you hadn’t yet noticed, they are now all available!
The clean-lined, slightly curvaceous Four Drawer Dresser is available in Chocolate, White and White Wash finishes for $1050. This piece is manufactured by Tulip and is really the best option if you’re looking for a dresser to go with the beautiful Leander Crib.

The Leander Changing Table has the same dramatic curves as the Leander Crib and converts to a desk after it completes its life as a changer. For $1275 its a wonderful companion piece to the crib.

The Leander high chair (shown at the desk above) is also available for purchase in the US now so if you’re looking for a bent wood chair that “grows” with you, this is one to consider. It is available in Black, Cherry, Natural, Walnut, White Wash for $280. Cushions in 8 different colors are an additional $50.

Finally, this beautiful Leander table and stool set is coming soon so we’ve got something else to look out for! This set is absolutely gorgeous.

First spotted this one on Minor Details!

Nurseryworks Vetro Collection
Yes, you heard me right. Vetro Collection. The famous (or infamous) acrylic crib from Nurseryworks, formerly known as the Hollis crib, is now the Vetro Crib. Vetro means “glass” in Italian.

The collection includes the crib ($3500) and the changer ($1500). The changer is pretty much Nurseryworks’ 2-wide changer with handles, a clear changing top and acrylic cutouts.

I am glad they decided against the fully acrylic changer though (so far). I was worried about that one. Nobody wants the contents of their drawers on full display.

The mattress pictured in the crib is from Nook and is a brilliant pick for this crib.
I can’t wait to see what else Nurseryworks has up its sleeve! I’m also looking forward to seeing photos of the Vetro crib is used in actual nurseries. That should be interesting.

Laura Rittenhouse Studio Furniture
I added Laura Rittenhouse’s Silver Moon crib to buymodercribs years ago, but it’s never been this easy to place your order for pieces in the Silver Moon collection. AllModernBaby.com* is now taking orders for this ultra-high-end line of nursery furniture. This is as expensive as it gets. The pieces are made by hand out of Mahogany and can customized with Sterling Silver inlay.

Crib- $6,500 or $8,000 with silver inlay
Changer- $4,000 or $4,200 with silver inlay
Armoire- 24″ wide $7,500, 40″ wide $11,000
Mirror (made of Eucalyptus)- $800
Now if only I could find photos of a nursery with this collection. Can you imagine?!
