As if Snurk bedding wasn’t amazing enough already, their Star Wars collection for J Crew is a must-have for your little Star Wars fan (and I’m sure many new fans were created over the past couple weeks.)
These won’t be around for long so be sure to grab a Darth Vader…
and Chewbacca. Who wouldn’t want to snuggle with a Wookie?
I’m so excited to share SISSY + MARLEY‘s latest interior project with you! Xander’s room features Jam by SISSY + MARLEY for Jill Malek wallpaper, which is perfect for this toddler’s room and will continue to enhance the space as Xander grows.
If you’ve got room for it, a play tent can become a fun and cozy feature in any child’s room or play space.
Oeuf’s Toy Store is a great storage piece that keeps playthings accessible.
The front facing bookshelves are a signature feature in a SISSY + MARLEY room, and as usual, I’m tempted to order every title they’ve selected.
I think these display shelves are my favorite accessory in the room and of course, they’re styled to perfection.
Top it off with a cute text print and some blue boyish toys and you’re really ready to roll.
And now I’ve got this song in my head…
Another inspirational job. Thanks for sharing, Chelsea! Now when are you coming down to Florida? I’ve got a beautiful blank space begging for your expert eye!

Yesterday we had a look at Gabriel’s beautiful black and white room, designed by the ladies at SISSY + MARLEY. Today I’ve got a list of sources so you know where to find the furnishings and decor pieces if they’re available! Some of these things are so hot they sell out before you even learn about them.
Don’t you just love the little pops of yellow and blue with the black and white?
The space isn’t “styled” just for the photos, this is just how we use the room on a daily basis– at least when it’s not a huge mess! The bed isn’t always made but this is what it looks like a few times a week.
One of our main problems upstairs is always book storage. We replaced a small bookshelf in the nursery with this hanging shelving system, but there STILL isn’t space for all the books. Also, stuffed animals are a problem. Every so often I try to get rid of some, but somehow more are always added to replace them. Ah well… always a work in progress.
We didn’t have room for the glider in this corner, so lucky me… it’s in my bedroom! This little reading corner works with a beanbag chair though.
Maybe one day I’ll clear out the clutter and photograph a more stylized version of the space, but for now, I hope you like the “real” Real Room Tour.
Chelsea, (aka Sissy) of the design team at SISSY + MARLEY, has just completed the transformation of her almost 5 year old son Sebastian’s room. The room is right on trend with the black and white and features SISSY + MARLEY’s Lucky Star Wallpaper. It also reflects Sebastian’s love of Legos and Superheros in a beautiful and sophisticated way. I LOVE it!!
I’m already sold on black and white, but this space is executed to perfection. Thanks for sharing, Chelsea!
This weekend was terribly busy as my family scrambled to get my little one’s big boy room finished before the new year. Here are a few photos of our progress! I’ll show photos of the completed room as soon as we get all the details filled in. I’m still shopping for a bookcase.

Here’s what I’ve been looking at:
From Ikea, the FJÄLKINGE shelf unit has the perfect look and a great price at $130. The problem 46.5″ is too wide for our space.
The Stairway Wall Mounted Bookcase from CB2 is the perfect width at 30″, but the problem with this one is it’s too tall for the room. 96″ won’t work with the 8′ ceilings (96″ = 8′).
I love Room & Board’s quality and I’ve always been a fan of the Slim line, but this shelf is getting a bit pricy at $500. I could pick white or this fun yellow color though…
