These aren’t just ordinary toddler bedding sets. The Bed in a Bag includes a toddler-sized pillow and pillowcase, a Toddler Dream Blanket and best of all, a Fitted+Flat Combo Sheet. The Fitted+Flat Combo Sheet is sewn together to help keep kiddos toes covered through the night. My 3rd grader wants a twin version of this!
There are 5 designs in the Classic collection ($150). First, the crowd favorite is Fluro Pink.
Then of course there’s Fluro Blue.
Liam the Brave Flying Dog is a more subtle blue print.
For the Birds is a subtle and pretty pink print.
And Up Up and Away is the cute gender neutral pattern.
There are also three organic sets ($170).
Toddler bedding will never be the same again.
They also have some great $40 play tents that make amazing gifts this holiday season!
Who’s excited for Mini Rodini’s new baby bedding collections? These 100% organic two-piece jersey duvet and pillow case sets bring Mini Rodini’s popular children’s wear patterns into their rooms. At least you won’t have to worry about the kids outgrowing them– well, at least until they outgrow the bed!
One of the “stars” of this year’s ABC Kids Expo was this fantastic, fun and modern muslin toddler bedding from Aden + Anais.
These come as Bed in a Bag sets with everything you need. They are super soft and oh so cute.
Aden + Anais has also partnered with The Woolmark Company to create a washable wool fabric with Aden + Anais’s signature muslin weave. The Merino wool collection is supremely luxurious and I had to touch it every time I walked by.
And since I got a question about it, these are the new muslin swaddle designs…
I love these colorful, modern, organic cotton quilts from Bunch & Rosa. They’re just as perfect for wrapping up your little one as they are hanging on the wall as art.
There are a few designs with a more tame color scheme, so check those out as well. The quilts are handcrafted in North Carolina and retail for $150 to $250.
Expanding their line once again, Skip Hop has released three new 4 piece toddler bedding sets that coordinate with their Zoo collection and three 3 piece toddler sheet sets. These expand the life of your Skip Hop nursery decor and bring your toddler’s favorite Skip Hop Zoo characters right to bed with them.
The 4 piece sets include Owl, Ladybug, and Monkey. The sets fit crib sized mattresses that are used in toddler beds and include a pillow sham, reversible comforter, fitted sheet and flat sheet. The character prints on the comforters are a little more cartoony than I like for bedding, but toddlers tend to have their own opinions about things so these cartoon characters might be a good compromise to avoid other more obnoxious options… yeah, I’m looking at YOU, Dora the Explorer.
Now, the 3 piece sheet sets are fantastic prints on their own. I especially love the banana print on the monkey set, and the red spots from the owl set are very versatile. These retail for $30 and if you’re buying a 4 piece set, you probably want to get an extra set of these for quick bed changes.
Finally, rounding out the toddler bedding options are the zoo pillows for $20.
So, is the zoo for you?
Well known and loved for their children’s clothing line, Mini Rodini launches a new home collection online and in their stores coming in October. They announced a sneak peek so we could have a look!
This collection will feature their whimsical, modern eco-friendly dyed prints on organic bed linens and upcycled cotton products.
The pufferfish print is one of my favorites that I have seen on children’s bedding. I look forward to more details next month!
Stay tuned to Mini Rodini for their launch announcement.

In case you want your stroller to look like your great-grandmother’s favorite armchair, Maclaren’s Cath Kidston Spray Flower Quest Buggy is back. $335
Nothing against Cath Kidston, I just prefer her modern vintage English style in smaller doses…

And now please excuse me as I redecorate my son’s bedroom to suit that penguin bedding!
