I have added the Emerson House to my list of dollhouses on buymoderntoys so you can see it there along with the other modern dollhouses I have discovered for you to choose from.
I am a little reluctant to add this to buymodernbassinets right now because the only online U.S. retailer who I can find that carries them is out of stock at the moment, but maybe if we bug them, Abe’s Market will get some more. The Eco Cradle from Green Lullaby is a simple, elegant and green version of the often overlooked bassinet. Many families never need one, but if you think you might like a bassinet, this might be just the thing. Inexpensive and recyclable, you won’t feel badly about purchasing one to use for just a few months.
One of my favorite things about it is that you can decorate the surface however you like– after all, it’s just made of corrugated cardboard. The pieces slide together easily without any tools and the cradle can be taken apart just as easily and stored flat in a closet or under a bed.
There’s also a play version for baby dolls.
Green Lullaby also has a cardboard dollhouse, table and chair set and adorable storage boxes.
What I love about our Ikea Antilop chair is that it just blends in with the rest of the dining area. I didn’t want a frilly patterned monstrosity that screams “I’VE GOT A BABY HERE!” On the other hand, we do have a baby, and he sits at the table with the rest of his family. See?:

Near the top you can see the white Antilop from Ikea. Its gray legs are similar to the chrome legs of our white dining chairs. At the bottom the 4 year old uses a Kaboost and has been using it since he was two. He LOVES it and doesn’t let anyone else near his chair! Anyway, the point is that nothing really stands out as too babyish yet we accommodate our family’s needs.
Now Ikea has another great high chair that will fit easily into the decor of many other dining spaces. Available in black and red, the Blames high chair could be just what you’re looking for. Available in stores for $60.

My latest addition to buymodernbabygifts is the bgreen diaper clutch from joyababy. These are a perfect gift for any new mom. She can drop this into any bag she owns and instantly turn it into a diaper bag. It’s also easy to throw one into a glove box or stroller basket to be ready for changes whenever you’re out with baby. It’s a gift that’s as stylish to give as it is to carry.
The clutch holds 2-3 diapers and a soft travel wipe pack. The changing mat is machine washable and it’s all PVC free.
Our Children’s Gorilla has a handful of products but they are all amazingly stylish. Their A-frame modern doll house is no exception and I’ve added it to the dollhouse guide on buymoderntoys. Its simple design is ready to be filled with imagination.

My latest addition to buymodernbookcases is the Ikea Expedit. I can’t believe it wasn’t one of the first pieces I put on the list but better late than never. This is a storage dynamo that would be right at home in almost any child’s space. It is available in a variety of sizes and colors and can be styled an infinite number of ways.
