We introduced the 4moms bounceRoo a couple weeks ago but we’re going to have a little fun this week and share one with one of our readers!
The bounceRoo is the only bouncer with unique vibration modes and intensity settings to help calm and soothe babies. The lightweight, portable and compact design is battery-operated and easy to collapse, making it easy to move around the house or take on-the-go. It comes with a toy mobile with three reversible toys, an easy-to-remove, machine washable seat fabric and a 20-minute automatic vibration shut off feature.
According to 4moms CEO Rob Daley, “The bounceRoo is a dramatic improvement over the traditional bouncer – the unique vibration modes offer parents a better way to soothe their baby and the sleek design is something they will be excited to have in their home.”
I would have been much more excited to have this than the $30 cartoony wire seat that we made do with! Our giveaway winner will be a bit more fortunate than myself.
You can enter to win a bounceRoo plush of your choice (retail value $119.99) from 4moms via the rafflecopter app below. Note: this sweepstakes is open to US resident over the age of 18 only. It starts right now and ends August 28th, 2015 at noon EST. Good luck!
I like to think we provide plenty of nursery and kids decor inspiration every week, but if you’re looking for specific items to design or accessorize your child’s space right now, we REALLY have you covered. One of my goals here all along has been to save you from the hours, days, weeks, months, etc… of web searching that it may take you to find that perfect crib sheet, pillow, clock, crib or mobile that really makes you say, “wow!” So here are some ideas how to browse all my discoveries and help you find what you’re looking for today!
First, see that nifty search box at the top of the page? I use that ALL THE TIME to go back and find things. With over 5 years of content, it’s a fast way to find specific items. Don’t forget to use quotation marks in your search if you need to narrow things down more.
Next, if you’re looking at a post and want to find more similar or related items, click on related tags to pull up other posts.
The Linkwithin plug in also helps find posts that “You might also like” and you can find those at the bottom of every post on the blog.
Beyond the blog, our Pinterest boards have great collections of items and inspiration for you to browse. Follow us or just select the boards you’re really interested in.
I’m also really proud of my etsy page where I’ve been able to curate some beautiful boards full of amazing items that I highly recommend considering.
So it seems Mother’s Day is my one day a year where I step out from behind the page here. We were out of town this weekend so our annual Mother’s Day photo almost didn’t happen, but we made it home with a little daylight to spare and my boys gathered around for a quick selfie before dinner.
While it’s not my favorite photo of the three of us (this morning’s makeup, didn’t do my hair, the boys are long overdue for a haircut and we didn’t coordinate our outfits), I know that in the future I would have regretted skipping this year (our 6th and last in this home). Also since I didn’t expect perfection, we got this picture with a lot less aggravation than it usually requires. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.
Hope you too had a nice busy day, and even if it wasn’t perfect, at least it was less aggravating than usual!
Bring back memories and share with kids of any age!
Have a great weekend.

I don’t mind it so much when they’re so obviously fakes! There are a few announcements out there that I hope are real, so I’ll have to check back with those tomorrow
Happy April Fools’ Day!
Wishing you all the best in 2015!

It’s November, aka Movember. The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow mustaches during Movember to spark conversation and raise money for men’s health programs. My husband is participating in Movember, and while I don’t mind a nice winter beard, this mustache thing is making me nervous!
Support me through this November mustache episode by donating to my husband’s team. He is also welcoming new team members so if your or your loved ones want to participate, please sign up and join the Scratchy Face Boys, then watch those mustaches grow– thanks!
