Finally we can talk about the cute, modern kid friendly lamps from Dutch design studio, Mr Maria. With their iconic Miffy lamps at the helm, Mr Maria lamps will be arriving on US shores thanks to Cool Kids Company.
Finally, Snuffy is not a lamp, but he’s awfully cute.
No timeline or pricing details are available yet, but I’ll update this post when the time comes.
Expected to be out May 1st, you may want to hold off on your storage bin purchase until you consider the new Monster Storage Bins from P’kolino! They feature rope arms and a big zipper mouth. I like that unlike most toy or laundry bins, these can be zipped shut. $30 each
Great job P’kolino!
We previewed this superstar collaboration last week, but now I’ve got some more official photos to share. Bugaboo is working with the Andy Warhol Foundation and has come up with a series of Warhol inspired stroller accessories. I showed you the ‘Flowers’ pattern last week and here is ‘Cars’:
The ‘Flowers’ series and the ‘Cars’ series will be available as sun canopies and tailored fabric sets for the Bugaboo Bee, Bugaboo Cameleon³, and Bugaboo Donkey.
There’s also a ‘Flowers’ parasol in light blue and green.
The ‘Cars’ and ‘Flowers’ collections will be available worldwide starting May 2013. The tailored fabric sets for the Bugaboo Cameleon3 and the Bugaboo Donkey will be about $110. and the Bugaboo Bee Sun Canopy will be about $70.
Bugaboo urges you to “convert to black” with their new all black edition of the Donkey. This convertible stroller features a matte black chassis, black frame, and black seat and canopy fabric. Starting in April, the monochromatic black collection will be available for all the current Bugaboo stroller models– Bugaboo Bee, Bugaboo Cameleon³ and Bugaboo Donkey. Very chic.
And if that isn’t exciting enough for you, Bugaboo just announced their latest collaboration today.
Later on in the spring (May), Bugaboo promises two new collections as part of an Andy Warhol collaboration! Today they released images of The Flowers Collection. I’ll update this post with pictures of Cars as soon as they are released. The Warhol collections include a tailored fabric set for the Cameleon³ and Donkey and a Sun Canopy for the Bee. I’m really diggin’ the bold red flower canopy.
For a preview of the Cars, go see the post on Babyology. I’m not really excited about the colors but you can let me know what you think.
I haven’t shared anything about Bugaboo’s new Buffalo yet, but we’ll talk about that later.
Every so often there’s a Kickstarter project that I can’t ignore. You are going to want these modern toy cars from Huzi, so go ahead and support them now! These gorgeous wooden cars feature a magnetic connecting system and chalkboard paint finish so you can assemble them and decorate them how you like.
As of today with 31 days to go, the Dream Car is more than a third of the way to its Kickstarter goal. Think of these as heirloom toys since you need to pledge $260 to get a full set of 4. But if you have to have them, get them now because the projected retail price is $440. At the minimum, I recommend choosing one set for $65 (will retail for $100-120).
These are going to be very hard for me to resist. A girl can dream, right? Thanks to Puj for the info.
It makes me so happy that Ferm Living keeps growing and introducing new collections each season. What’s even better is that they never leave the kids out. This season they’ve got some great new items that make it even easier to add a little Ferm Living into your life.
Their new mini decal sheets ($21) are totally on trend and create a simple and dramatic statement. I’ve been considering small dots for my little dude’s room. In addition to Dots they have Drops, Butterflies, Stars, and Triangles. They all come in black and neon.
The new collection can be pre-ordered now and will ship at the end of March. I can’t wait!
