Gabriel’s Big Boy Room by SISSY + MARLEY

Sorry if we’re on such a streak of big kid rooms, but where they’re this fabulous, whether there’s a bed or a crib, it’s great inspiration. SISSY + MARLEY have the black and white big kid room down to perfection.

Gabriel 2

I always love the wall libraries in the SISSY + MARLEY spaces. It’s wonderful when the books function as art.

Gabriel 2

But the black and white art wall is perfect as well.

Even a simple, inexpensive crib can be the crib over your dreams once you add your favorite bedding, the perfect plushie and your lovely little one.

Here’s another Kickstarter you really want to get in on. These amazing number blocks go well beyond stacking and knocking down– although you can start there!

Make learning math into play and exploration with SumBlox. The number value is represented by it’s height and helps reinforce value concepts.

Sum Blocks adding

These don’t just work for addition… you can even explore multiplication and fraction concepts. I could use these right now for my 3rd graders’ factors!

Pledge $65 for a set of 43 blocks and activity card. Retail price for this set is $90 (add $16 shipping).
Pledge $150 for a classroom set of 100 blocks plus 3 teaching manuals. Retail price is $200 (add $28 shipping).
