I’m thrilled to have Lauren’s nursery inspiration on the blog here today. I was a long-time fan of “with two cats” (which has now morphed into a lovely life) and I’m even more in love with her beautiful new blog, A Lovely Lark, which is more specific to kids and nursery spaces. Add it to your reader if you haven’t already!
Woodland Accessories for Children’s Spaces
One look I’ll never stop loving is a woodland nursery. My own daughter’s nursery is loosely based on a woodland theme, and I tend to gravitate toward other children’s spaces with this feel. I hesitate to use the word ‘theme’ in general because you can go over the top with it very easily, but a few well-placed items here and there can help a room to feel cohesive. Here are a few things I’m currently loving:
dolls . washi tape [image source] . coatrack . log lamp . clock . pillowcase
A big thank you to Esther for including me in her guest posts – I hope you’re having a wonderful and well-deserved vacation with your family! You can see more of my ideas for children’s spaces over on my blog, A Lovely Lark. xo, Lauren

Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and everything. However think of if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could undeniably be one of the best in its niche. Great blog!
