As you can imagine, finding all this cool stuff for you across the world wide web (does anyone call it that anymore?), can come with come expensive side effects. Sometimes I can’t help bringing some of my great finds home to me.
1- I got these pillows for my son’s room. I had these on my wishlist for a long time and was excited to finally get the Fox, Squirrel and Owl.
2- Our Swoop Bag has changed my life. There are Legos all over our house at all times and I just drop any bricks I find (in the rug, in the washing machine, in the dishwasher!!) into the Swoop Bag and the kids can spread it out, find all their pieces and play on the surface as well. When they go to bed I just lift the handles to stow the bag and all the little Lego contents out of the way. Excellent. I can’t wait to get another one! (we have LOTS of Legos)
3- Ever since we moved into this house 4 years ago, I’ve wanted a James the Doorman Door Stop from Black+Blum. When the windows are open, I really need a door stop to keep the doors from slamming shut because of the draft. Well, I finally got a pair of these little guys!
4- My newest niece and nephew received their very own state teethers from Little Sapling Toys. These are my favorite ways to personalize and top off a baby shower gift.
Fortunately, I often find ways to score some deals on my purchases. One of my main tips for finding some of the coolest stuff for less is to register for and follow the numerous sale sites that have popped up over the last couple years. I check these out daily. If you don’t have the time to open all their emails and search through their offerings every day, I tweet about sales from brands and items that I like. Follow me on twitter if you want me to point you in the right direction!
