Now this isn’t an unusual situation really. You have a boy first and then you have a girl. Reuse the furniture, change out some of the accessories and you’re ready to go. What IS unusual here is that at 36 weeks, the Oronzis discovered that the nursery they had prepared for the little girl they were expecting would be welcoming a baby boy. Yup, their little “Chloe” was going to be a Dylan! This is proof positive that ultrasounds are not always ultra-accurate.
Back at home, “Chloe’s” nursery was already completed to perfection by Jute Interior Design. In fact, I had pinned a photo of the nursery and called it “PERFECT girl’s nursery.” I was shocked weeks later to see in an article in California Home Design, that this gorgeous space had gone through a “Last-Minute Nursery Makeover“!
Jennifer Jones of Niche Interiors helped the panicked couple re-imagine the space and quickly transformed the nursery into a picture perfect modern boy’s nursery. They reused the furniture and dragonfly wallpaper but changed out the art and accessories to better reflect the room’s new occupant.
