The last Cribsie Awards category I’d like to review with you is “The Perfect Little Play Table.” You may be aware of my long-time search for the perfect play table, so it was interesting to see what the Cribsies came up with as their list of finalists.
Next, at the other end of the price spectrum, is Ikea’s Sansad Table. For $50 you get a nice, large, solid surface with legs that are adjustable to three different heights. I’m not a fan of the leg colors but you could probably dress it up with a little DIY.
Offi’s Play-A-Round Activity Table retails for $300. I think I would have had Offi’s Woody Chalkboard Table here instead, because this table isn’t really that exciting without the matching Mini Drawer Chairs. The table and chairs are designed by Roberto Gil.
You all know I’m a big P’kolino fan but I truly would have been shocked if one of P’kolino’s play tables wasn’t on this list. In this case, their Craft Table is the big finalist but the Chalk Table and Safari Tree Table would have been great picks as well.
Plan Toys, a favorite toy brand, has their own version of the Play Table. It’s perfect for Plan City or Plan Toys’ Train Sets. Retails for $200.
The Land of Nod is another wonderful place to search for play tables. I’ve been admiring their Mojo Table for a long time but this year, their Activity Table was a Cribsie top pick. Available in White, Honey and Espresso, the table comes with or without storage bins, has different height legs (low, medium and high) and an optional paper roller.
Is your perfect play table on this list? Who are you voting for?
