Tangerine Tango: Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2012
You know the end of the year is near when Pantone announces its new color of the year. Their pick for 2012 is Tangerine Tango 17-1463.

This year’s color has a little bit of the pink of last year’s Honeysuckle, but is slightly better suited to more masculine applications.
Here are my Tangerine Tango picks for your modern baby:

1- Lights Up! Weegee Pendant Lamp in burnish chintz- $348
2- Alexander Girard PLYprint- Sun- $95
3- Caravan Crib in Red- $895
4- The Bertie Toy Box- $370
5- DwellStudio Draper Stripe 5×7.6 Rug in Persimmon- $250
6- Aristo Katt Pillow from Ferm Living- $50
7- Oxo Tot Sprout Chair in Orange and Birch- $250
Nice picks, love Alexander Girard! I definitely prefer this color to last year’s — this is such an approachable shade of orange.
Bright and cheery — very cute!
My favorite color is also orange (and gray). Both colors seem really popular these days. Great color pick! I love this shade. I have always wanted to design a boy’s room in pink(I am not usually a fan of pink in a girl’s room) and I think I have found the perfect shade.

Since my favorite color is orange and because I love the modern design I think this stuff is fab! The crib, the rug and the high chair are the items I like the best.
