Dutailier’s New Direction: Show Stopping Collections
Wow. Wow. Wow. My mouth dropped open. I could NOT believe what I was seeing. I hadn’t even planned on visiting Dutailier. They were located way in the back corner of the furniture section, and they don’t usually have anything of great interest to me, so boy was I surprised at what I saw.
I’m just going to show you the photos right now and we’ll talk more about what’s going on later.
Here’s a closer look at some of the pieces:

Oh my. My jaw is literally open. BEAUTIFUL! I love those gliders more than my MONTE rocker! Sighhhhh….

Interesting furniture. I don’t like the gliders though. I think the Monte gliders are still the most beautiful by far.
The pieces look clumsy and poorly proportioned. As if they’re trying too hard to be modern. These are the typical results of a large traditional company inspired by (knocking off) design leaders like Oeuf, Netto, Monte, etc.. I wonder what they think?
We have a 6 year old traditional Dutailier glider and we are now shopping for a new one. I don’t think it will be another Dutailier. Their new stuff looks very cheap and like the above post, clumsy and poorly proportioned. They should do what they do best, and not try to copy everyone else.
I didn’t get back there but I’m glad you did.
Not only do I love all of the sets, but I think the wall paper they used complimented them very well.
I also like the gliders. Did they comment on pricing?

Did you find out when those new gliders are scheduled to come out?
To all of you the wait is over!!! All upholstered gliders and case good sets are being delivered throughout North America as now!!! These products should hit the retail floors in early January. Plus visit our website in January to see the Dutailier consumer’s promos!!!!
All of the New Furniture has been shipped to retailers accross North America as of this week .You should expect to see them in the stores by early January.
The upholstered gliders have also been shipped and the new Urban Gliders will be sent out early January.
oh. my. goodness. I was not expecting that. What a beautiful collection! I want another baby, stat!
