My Modern Nursery #47: DwellStudio Owls Sky
I’m really happy with the way this reader request turned out, but I need your help finishing it! Anna picked out the walnut Oeuf Sparrow crib and dresser for her first little boy (after two girls!) and after a long search, chose DwellStudio Owls Sky bedding. Having made those major choices, she needed a little assistance putting the rest of the details or her little guy’s nursery together. This is what I’ve come up with.

Eero Aarnio Children’s Collection
Legendary designer, Eero Aarnio, leaped to fame in the 1960s with his Ball Chair. More recently, we’ve seen Aarnios’ children’s pieces like the puppy in fun modern spaces, but there’s more where that came from.
Now you can get your hands on some of these fun designs from design/story. If the puppy isn’t quite your thing, how about one of these whimsical dinos (in green, pink, black or white)?
What do you get when you cross the puppy with tetris? You get Doggies of course! These building shapes come in sets of 3 for $30 a set.

There was a bit of a rainbow theme this week, which I first noticed in A Technicolor Nursery on Honey & Fitz. With a large enough space and a neutral base, this might actually work! The design is full of fun picks.

From time to time I browse what Costco.com is offering in their nursery furniture department. Usually there is nothing to share but I spied a little beauty today!
This Newco Luxe Glider with X-ottoman is just $800 including shipping. In one of three neutral colors, Ivory, Coffee and Chocolate, this could be the perfect glider for your nursery.
If this Luxe Glider with X Ottoman design looks familiar to you, you can find it on Jennifer Delonge’s website- though it’s shown with some fancier fabrics and the dimensions have been changed a bit.
The original Jennifer Delonge Luxe Glider (shown below) has a skirted base and gliding skirted ottoman. You can find this style starting at $990.
Buy a Modern Boat
My husband and I were on a cruise (sans kiddos) this past weekend and we couldn’t find a single souvenir worth bringing home for the boys. These are more along the lines of what we were looking for.
