Here’s some feedback on the dresser that I got in an email from a reader…

“I wanted to share a little insight on the Leander crib and dresser set. My husband and I fell in love with the set and purchased the crib and the 4 drawer dresser. When the pieces arrived we both noticed that the dresser was a much much darker stain than the crib. We called the store because we thought it was an error or production issue. However, we were told that the U.S. distributor / manufacturer for the dresser is different than the crib. The crib is made in Denmark while the dresser is made in Canada and they can’t or don’t match the stain. While we expected some variation, they look like different stains all together. The crib is walnut, like you are seeing the pictures and the dresser is closer to Mahogany or a black / brown stain. Some may not be bothered by the variance, but we would have never spent the money for matching pieces that really don’t match. We were told that the changer will match the crib and is identical since they are both coming from the same factory / production line.

Thought I would share a little info since we couldn’t find much information out there on the pieces. We love the pieces, but buyer beware, we were told via the store (who said word came straight from Natart in Canada) that the crib and dresser will not match in stain.”
