New Addition: Ikea Expedit
My latest addition to buymodernbookcases is the Ikea Expedit. I can’t believe it wasn’t one of the first pieces I put on the list but better late than never. This is a storage dynamo that would be right at home in almost any child’s space. It is available in a variety of sizes and colors and can be styled an infinite number of ways.

Tons of stuff on Ohdeedoh.com about customizing Expedit pieces – my favorite is to cover the back particleboard with wallpaper or wrapping paper before attaching it to the bookcase.
